Default works fine, but something doesn't seem right with "Full Kill". Turning all 3 to minimum does indeed kill the sound, great! But turning one of them up a little bit means you can hear the whole sound of the song playing, ie. if you bring up just the treble dial, you don't get just the "hissing" of the high hats etc, you can hear the whole tune, not ideal... this worked perfectly in VDJ7 :)

I can't get the kill feature working at all on my side. When I turn the 3 eq to minimum I still can hear some sound

You need to enable the kill mode in config first.

If you kill all three bands, do you not hear bass when you raise the treble - or treble when you raise the bass?

Click the 'settings' icon in the default skin, which opens the config window.
On the left hand side, select the 'options' icon.
Tick the 'show advanced options' box (top right).
Search for kill. Change equalizermode to 'full kill'.

Not sure mine is working well. I changed the equalizer to full kill and when I turn them all down there is no music, but it seems when I turn down the low EQ there really isn't much of a change as compared to the mid & high; I'm only trying this on my MacBook Pro without a controller and external speakers. When I turn down the mid & high, there is a noticeable difference. On the other end, when I turn up the bass, the limiter does start to twinkle so it seems to be doing something.

Full Kill works as it should (Thank you for the tip), only thing is when I turn up the Bass and leave the mid and high on full kill, you can here a lttle bit of the Highs (as in cymbals). This isn't an issue and this depends entirely on the tune playing, so be aware on that.

Someone wrote that you are able to change the cut frequencies in the options.
Just search for "EQ", I don't know the correct option out of memory.

Today, I purchased VDJ 8.0. Previously, I was using the free version (7). I really like the new VDJ but indeed, full kill does not always work like it should be. I never experienced this in VDJ 7. I hope this bug will be fixed soon. Keep up the good work guys, really impressive work!
