After working with the SZ for a few days..
I only have 2 problems:
1) I cant map the round display inside the jogs (current position)
- I guess I'll have to wait for the official support.
all other are mapped and working
but a big issue:
2) there are cracks sound when playing.
I'm not talking about latency problems but sound cracks
(random) related to iso drivers or something like that.
when I use Serato no problem but when using VDJ from time to time a crack comes along...
I tried to isolate the problem but cracks are coming when changing deck but also when loading decks...
even when just playing they come...
I have an SX and no problem there with the same computer.
tried to use a larger buffer and it seems not related.
help will be appreciated.
thanks

I've managed To Isolate The Problem...
the ticks are related to the "Advance Config" selection in sound setup.
only when I use the Advance feature the cracks and tick are present.
now,
That is the case in 3 different computers and for the 2 latest VDJ versions.
For The SZ We Have To Use the Advance Config... if we want to use 4 decks...
Can Someone Help?

If you config the sound setup like that:
Inputs: None
Ouputs: Headphones (Master: Chan 1&2 / Headphones: Chan 3&4)
Sound card (PC): ASIO - Pioneer DDJ_SZ ASIO (from the drop-down menu) (Tick "Ultra-latency ASIO")
Sound card (Mac): 4-out card - Pioneer DDJ_SZ (from the drop-down menu)
there are still cracks when you are playing ?

As I said The Problem Is Only in "Asio Advance Mode"
if you want to use 4 decks then you have to use that mode... (with the SZ).
I found that any other "mode" works fine... but I cant use the 4 decks..

That's a known problem. Well, at least I know it and it also present with the SX ( I just own the sx not the sz).
But there it is the same issue. As soon as you try to use the advanced config you get crackles and noises and stuff.
Now I'm using the master + headphone setup and that works perfect.

You are correct
When I tried to use my old sx with advance mode it's the same!!!
The only difference is that in order to use 4 decks in sx we can use your way
But in order to use the sz with 4 decks we must use the advance mode...
My solution is to use 3 channel external mixer mode... Better then nothing.

The SX is not designed for use in "external mixer" mode. It has to be used with a master/cue setup.

The SZ has enough audio in/out channels to be used as an external mixer. You need to be sure that you're running the SZ ASIO driver at 44.1kHz though, as VDJ has a long standing issue with using advanced mode at higher rates.

As I Said The my Solution For The SZ is 3 Ch External.
When using the SX there is now need...
But if we want to use the SZ with 4 Decks We Cant yet...

Presumably you're running the skin at the correct resolution for your screen.
Have you tried experimenting with using different skins?
Are you using CPU stressing elements such as coloured waveforms or the scratch (centre) waveforms)?

The Audio problems are not related to the mapper...
