1. While the new era of custom controller is at the corner, it would be awesome to have some software to arange how the buttons in the skin should resemble with our controller. not to mention the incopatibility between controllers that are made for other softwares. something like http://www.umidi.co/design.html . there should be steps like aranging the buttons, backgrounds and collor and mapping the buttons. just like a wizard :)
2. there are a lot of functions that vdj can handle and a few buttons on our controller. as an example, we might use only two buttons to select wich sample to select and one button to play. it would be nice that vdj would give us a popup message that will show us wich sample we had selected. to "Make buttons perform different functions depending on what mode is selected and send pop-up message to annouce it" is a thing that could be improved.
3. we could use a deck with a song wich would have some samples. how about if we set a new mode like cue and loop that would set a cue start point and cue-stop point. we could use our cue point to select drums, snares, kicks, and remix our sets. or better, we could record a sample like the using a Novation Launchpad.
and again it could be improved at some point, to make a deck a keyboard and make somethink something like this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oYex3yrO1T4 and we could use just one software.

1. I think VDJ8 will have the possibility to be completely modular with the skins, but it would be one hell of a task to code, so it's unlikely that we would get a skin that can do that for a while unless dunks from djdecks get's onboard when the new version is realeased.

2. most of that can be done already

3. VDJ8 will have cue events and the sampler will be completely new. We will have to wait.
