I'm 16 years and kinda new at this and was just wondering if any body could tell me were to get more sound effects. I use virtual DJ Home. I love what I've Got But it would be nice to have more for creating some hard core dubstep.
Thanks,

If you take a look at this comparison chart, looks like VDJ Broadcaster is the minimum required license to download effects http://www.virtualdj.com/products/comparison.html

What do you mean by sound effects? Are you talking about sounds or effects?
In other words are you looking for (sound) samples or for effects (like echo) that can be applied to already existing sounds?

What I'm kinda looking for is like a way to add bass lines and stuff like that. Like along the lines of echo and what not. I already have Echo, Flanger, Distorter, vocal, beat grid, you know the basics that come with the program. But I want to be able to make better drops. So anything that helps with that. I don't expect to sound like a pro or anything but it would be cool to do a little better.

Bass lines and echo are two different things.
Like I was saying, one (the bass line) is a sound. The other is an effect.
If you want to produce your own music ("make a drop" or "hard core dubstep" as you put it) then VDJ is the wrong program.
You need production software such as Ableton Live to do that sort of thing. VDJ is designed to play back music, not create it.

Thanks. Is there a way to add actual effects. Along the lines of the echo and flanger. That stuff is stillcool and i do enjoy DJ'ing at friends parties and stuff and extra effects help. I know i can record my own sounds. And thanks for telling me about that software, I'm gonna check it out.

I think I'm correct in saying that you can only use the effects provided with Home. As effect downloads are not enabled, I suspect that means you can't install further effects.

It is a free software after all. If you want features, you have to pay. :-)

Don't forget you can always trial the full version for 20 days.

Unless he is using a LE Version which provides this feature in the options, the current home free version
does only support pro features for 10 minutes each time he starts the software.
But that without a day limit.

Right...20 Day Trial might work but is no longer official supportet...

Please do not post the same question more than once.
You already hijacked someone elses thread (link) earlier today.
