Topic: Mac Tiger Problems

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

So my old computer crashed a while back and I just bought a MacBook with Mac OS X Tiger (10.4). I made a very good choice and registered my virtual dj a long time ago (i had numark mixtrack LE) and I don't have the disc. When I go to download the version for Mac from my download center, it downloads but unfortunately it's only compatible for 10.5 and up. Any suggestions?

Sorry, but MacOS Tiger is a very old an obsolete operating system that has not been supported by VirtualDJ since version v6.0.2 and is also no-longer supported by Apple.

The MixTrack wasn't supported until VirtualDJ v7 and ships with VirtualDJ LE v7 included. It's not compatible with earlier versions of VirtualDJ. The minimum system requirements for the MixTrack itself is MacOS 10.5 or later on an Mac with Intel CPU - Please see: http://www.numark.com/product/mixtrack

If your Mac is Intel-based, then you will need to upgrade it to a newer version of MacOS. Otherwise, unfortunately, you will need to purchase a more up-to-date computer.
