FEEL LIKE IM ONE OF ONLY A FEW HIP HOP DJS ON THIS SITE... I KNOW ITS GOTTA BE SOME BUT I HAVNT REALLY CAME ACROSS ANY AS OF YET... IM JUS INTRESTED IN HEARING SOME OTHER HIP HOP MIXES FROM OTHER DJS SINCE ITS MY GENRE OF CHOICE..

If you go into the radio portion of this site plenty of hip hop djs there.
Just go to www.virtualdjradio.com and there you can hear other VDJ users hip hop mixes.

I play all types of Music But, I have tons of Hip Hop & R&B and I love Taking it back to the 80s & 90s. Recently, I added a folder to my playlist called Best 500 of all time. Its Sick.
 
I enjoy the music but I struggle making good transitions. I guess I have much more to practice..

Its all about practice and knowing your music... plus more practice lol
 
If you wanna do good hiphop transition..first get a basic music theory. most music it the same when it comes to song structure...so practice the structure of your music...ex. verse length, chorus a and b, Bridge, intro/outro. Alot different from your 4 on the floor based edm.
 
@Rileythellistyle. I like your mixes but those scratch effects are not needed. They are off tempo and dont turn into a transition or juggle, use your echoes and others instead. Also i pulled up your R&B mix hoping to groove smooth. But her come lil wayne track..if your doing a R&B mix stick with R&B. Rock on Homie!!!!!!!!!!
 
I play mostly hiphop rap trap and dubstep(mashups), every once in a while I get a request and i'll mash it in, but its not to often, crowd seems to enjoy what I play.

@djratedxxx thanks for the advice!! I will definitely lay off the scratching in my mixes, seems to be where i could use the most improvement.
