Topic: Timecode problems

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

I'm trying to run 2 belt driven timecodes with virtual dj pro. One of my turntables spins a little faster than the other, but does so by an inconsistent degree (the speed is continually shifting up and down to + or - a few bpm). I have tried beat lock but that simply makes one track occasionally skip a beat. I have tried disabling pitch but though that stops the software registering a change in speed, one track all ways moves ahead of the other. I have tried messing with pitch sensibility but that does not seem to have any effect. Is there a work around for this problem?

Thanks for any help you can give me.

as far as i know u cant try, using Direct drives belts arnt recommended, as the the Vynil, Turntable determine the output, u can pick tehse up for like 100ish for half decent ones on ebay that will sort out your timcode problems, at teh end of teh day Timecode rely on Decks working perfectly, e.g. drives and pitch being absolute in range and in teh way they work
