Topic: Controller ALMOST Works

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

I bought a new laptop and have it all set up with VDJ 7.4 Pro, I have my Denon S-3700 s & X1600 all plugged up "just like my older laptop." the program sees the controller, and all functions seem to be MIDI mapped correctly, except the play/pause button will not control the program. I can load a song, and it shows in both the program and the 3700 display. I hit play, the platter spins, but nothing else happens.
all the other functions (EFX, loop, song select...etc,) seem to work fine. I have double & triple checked all VDJ settings and they are the exact same.
The new laptop works perfectly with the DN-HC4500.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

The platter support for the DN-S3700 was updated in VirtualDJ v7.4 - Please ensure that you have the latest firmware installed from http://www.denondj.com and have set the JogPulse to 2960/Cycle. If you have installed a custom mapper or modified the older default, you may need to remove it/reset it to factory defaults.

Awesome! Thank you for the info. I'll update it when I get to my warehouse today and get back with results.
Thanks again.

The 2960 setting was the issue.
Thanks!
