Hi all,
I have a problem with my mac and CDJs. Here is the issue.
I connect the 2 decks to the mac and power them on then open virtual DJ. When i load a song on the left deck it appears on both CDJs. I can load a song on the right deck and play it through the mixer by pressing play on VDJ. the sound comes through fine. No matter what combination of the below settings i tried i cant get the 2 cdjs to read the correct VDJ channels. I have also tried the eject button when i press it it changes both decks from 1 to 2 and vice versa. all firmware is up to date also on CDJs. and its a brand knew macbook also
The set up in VDJ is
Inputs: NONE
Output: External Mixer
Soundcards: 2 Cards - Pioneer CDJ350 & Pioneer-CDJ350
I have also set the MIDI channels to 1 & 2 on the Decks
please help ive a big gig saturday and really need this to work
appreciate the help

Both controllers must be set to MIDI channel 1

I have tried that and they still are showing the same song from the 1 deck on virtual dj. Is there a way to do this? I've tries both on same midi channel.
I have to use my wego tonight but I won't be able to use it on Saturday as its a bigger venue.
In the aggregator I'm showing 2 cdj350- pioneer
But in virtual dj I'm showing one cdj350-pioneer and one cdj350pioneer with no dash. Is this the issue
I've tried to select both with the dash and code versa but still the same
I've also tried to create aggregates in midi settings on mac but that's not working at all.
Please help. I'm running out of time. Under pressure.

You need to assign each CDJ to the correct deck in VirtualDJ.
Please read http://www.virtualdj.com/wiki/Decks%20inverted%20on%20MIDI%20controller.html
NOTE: On most single deck controllers, you can choose the deck by pressing the EJECT button.
NOTE: The sound card settings are completely separate to MIDI control.

Have you sorted your problem yet?
I've been there and figured out how to solve it.

here's what you do
when u run the cdj aggregator
go to the applications / utilities / audio midi setup
where the cdjs are combined, configure each cdj to multichannel
select one cdj with channels 1 & 2 (left & right)
and the other cdj 3 & 4
then you start vdj and in sound setup u choose
ext 2 channel mixer
sound card - 4 out - the name of the cdj sound card
(nb. cdj will now have 2 cards listed. 1 will be a aggregated & the other will be the regular single card)
you will have to try them to know which is the aggregated one.
