Had same problem two nights in a row running an American Audio VMS 4.1 with VDJ Pro 7.3 and looking for clues.
I was happily playing along when all of a sudden there was a garbled audio sound and VDJ pro lost all audio straight after.
I am running under windows 7 with ASIO audio drivers for the VMS 4.1 on a dual core 2010 17" Macbook pro with 4gb of ram
I normally run with a Pioneer DJM 2000 and CDJ's and never have this problem.
I tried upping the latency in VDJ Pro and turning safe mode on after the 1st time it did it, but next gig it did it again.
Any ideas?
