I've got Virtual DJ Pro with the Hercules RMX2 controller. When using a Mic...on the controller, I get a delay, like...a 1/2 second or so when I speak. I'm using the Hercules RMX skins and mapping with the Virtual DJ software.
Also, turning the mic vol nob on the controller does nothing on the software.
Any ideas? suggestions?

Try lowering the ASIO buffer size (and also potentially also the USB buffer size) in the Advanced tab of the DJ Control panel:
When the value is too high (as it might be the case for the default value on your system), a noticeable delay is apparent. A document available on the Hercules support site explains how to configure the ASIO driver:

As for the microphone level knob on the console, keep in mind that it controls the actual microphone hardware level. It is perfectly normal that it does not interact with the software knob visible on screen.
