ok...not sure where to start...but I've recently purchased Virtual DJ Pro and Hercules RMX 2 controller. Everything seems to be working except microphone. My button on the controller does not seem to have any effect on the software. I've downloaded the skins and mapping for the Hercules RMX2 controller, but still no luck. When turning the mic volume on the controller, the volume control on Virtual DJ doesn't change. My mic vol is very high....lots of feedback and reverb? (echo maybe). I really really need some help with this. Thanks in advance for your help.

I'm having trouble with the mic input in RMX2 too. The gain in the mic is too loud and with no mic connected I can hear a hiss sound even with the knob in zero.
The mic knob in RMX isn't midi and will not control the mic gain in VDJ.

Not sure if I understand, but the mic output on my Denon MC6000 was very hot, if I turned it up to about 2 and I was getting lots of feedback. I ordered the following from B&H Photo and it helped me out.
