Hey Guys,
Ive been using VDJ Pro on a PC for about 8 months with 4gb of Ram and it has been good so far. I finally purchased a Mac Book Pro, 8 GB Ram/i7/SSD etc. My drive which is new (Seagate 3TB GOflex USB 3.0) has been freezing during scans. Ive been scanning by folder instead of the entire drive which has helped. But even when just dragging songs too fast it locks up occasionally.
So I have a few questions. Is the 3.0 USB drive only running 2.0 an issue? They sell the adapter my drive which will convert it to Firewire.
and 2
Are there settings I should adjust on my MAC to optimize VDJ and my HD? Any help would be great.
Thank you

Guess your first problem is just normal, if the "freeze" is just a part of a second during the load!
The BPM Scan is a verry heavy process and so you should normaly do that before a gig!
I would advice you to create a Filter folder.
Name: Local Database - Not Analyzed
Filter: isscanned=0
Add before the hole drive to your serachDB.
When you know select the filter folder, you will all UNSCANNED tracks.
Let now the BPM Scan work over night or maybe longer ;-)
After that all the "freeze" should not longer that bad as at the moment.
The only addional setting would be to use alsways the better (higher class) videocard, if you use 15" MBP.
