Topic: Help me!!! VDJ doesnt recognise my hercules mk4

Hey guys!!! Hopefully, someone will help me....

I have a Hercules DJ Mk4 and i cant use it with virtual DJ.... The soundcard works perfectly but i just cant use the controls with it.... I installed the drivers (2012_HDJS_3) more than once in 2 different laptops and still nothing....


As for the audio configuration i should have something like this, but i dont have the "Hercules" soundcard as an option:

- Input : NONE
- Output(s): Headphone > Master Chan1/2 / headphone Chan3/4
-Soundcard: DJ Console 4-Mx

Which version of VDJ are you using (name and number)?

Version 6.0.2 is not the most recent version. Also you haven't registered your serial number.....

5 hours later, i managed myself.... i just had to update my VDJ.... thanks god

there is a update for the rmx that covers all the controlers. it asks you to plug in the controler so it can set it up.. I have a few of them..

v6.0.2 is a very old and out of date version of the software. There have been many changes and improvements to the software since then (See http://www.virtualdj.com/wiki/VirtualDJ_History.html ) - We are now on v7.2

Please register your serial number on the page http://www.virtualdj.com/users/edit.html and then upgrade to the latest version: http://www.virtualdj.com/download/updates.html

I have the same issue.
I have Hercules MK4 and latest firmware (1.0.3.19) and drivers (5.6.8.0)
And also i have virtual DJ Full pro
when i play a track from the software it goes through the MK4 sound card to the speakers and plays fine but
none of the controllers in the MK4 works.

it's a windows 7 laptop.

This could be because its MIDI channels have been changed from the default. Open the Hercules DJ control panel (Click on the DJ icon in the Windows task bar) and then check that it's assigned to the default channels 1&2

Also, if your computer has USB 3.0 ports it may not work correctly. Either plug the console into a USB 2.0 port (If available) or try using a powered USB 2.0 hub.

Al momento dell'installazione dei driver per la console mi da:
Driver incompatibili con questo computer... รจ impossibile?
