My latest piece of hardware
I know yes its a Behringer but every once in a while they hit a home run and I think they did with this piece.
I debated and debated between this and the DBX Driverack PX for my EV Live-X 15 tops and 18 Subs. I decided to give this a shot after a week of talking to some people and reading some reviews (only about 350). My first thought when opening the box is built like a tank. It is brushed aluminum case and very well put together. I quickly popped it in my rack and hooked it up.
To my demise this takes a little configuration and the manual is not very friendly. Really though anyone with knowledge of Sound equipment can figure it out, but it will take a while. The DCX2496 does a lot more than crossover and EQ. It is more than I need but will play around with its many features to see what all it will do.
The Crossover and EQ are pretty clean. I do not hear any degradation and if any at all it is a fraction. Three inputs and 6 outputs. Each output has its own settings, volume, eq, crossover, delay, etc. It also supports auto alignment for phase corrections via the third input with microphone.
I would reccommend it to anyone needing or looking at the DriveRack PX for their speaker management.
