i have found while creating HID mappers for NI gear, that some companies find it necessary to follow the norm when designing their HID reports.
with the S2, they somehow thought it would be a good idea to split the values up and put them in the wrong order

my suggestion is for more flexability when defining locations in the HID reports for mapping.
