i thought i would update what i finally did to resolve my issues i am running windows 7 pro 64 bit denon hs 5500 midi mode,and virtual dj version 7.03.for starters, follow the wiki on how to set up denon available in the vdj forum.;one thing that causes the warble on layer 2 is the play button has been mapped incorrectly,it has been mapped as play pitch slide meaning when u play a track it tries to pitch match ultimately your play falls out of beat so to fix map the play as a play_pause button and not play_pitch slide .for windows 7 64 bit go to microsoft and download and install win 7 freeze hot fix it elimates the sudden freeze by the software.ope this helps. special thanks to cstoll he helped me out when i was almost giving up and selling the mdi player. the only issue left is when player 2 is active and the layer button is on layer 2 if you try to use search the player freezes temporarily other that that ive used it flawlessly doing videos
