here is the ticket I added, and the response. that is outrageous. basically trying to upsell me. the software doesnt work with a supposedly supported piece of hardware without soem major tweaks to my mac that I am sure will have knock on negative effects. anyone had similar or care to commetn?

also on my imac (both runnign the same version of lion btw),although it will install, it it won;t find my itunes playlists. i have seen advice about chaning my itunes xml file name, but i dont think thsi would be a good idea, and isnt something i think I should have to do.
i have to say that this makes the dj2go essentially pointless. i am very disappointed as I though this product would be good. i have downloaded the free version through the mac store, and although it works, you can\'t cue a track on it. please advise as I feel very disappointed about this.

VirtualDj LE that comes with the DJ2Go is a very limited version. Just VirtualDJ pro Full would work with this controller and give you all support you need. The solution is given, and is the way it would work, iTunes don't mind to be compatible with any other software but iTunes, so they change the names or the program as they want. This don't allow to follow full support without doing some fixes as you are instructed to do so.... sorry
Cheap hardware would be never good. THe best deal now should be a Numark Mixtrack Pro at least or a Hercules RMX or 4MX or a VMS4 or a Pioneer Ergo or a Denon MC-6000.

I have one and use it all the time with VDj Pro w/DjIo ,Dj2go lite is something fast and quick to get the feel of Dj. Player 1 & 2 if you get the Full You will be very satisfy with that DJ2Go with that Mac.

it doesn't install on my macbook. it does on my imac, but to see itunes playlists you have to rename itunes, which I am sure is going to create problems elsewhere. badly made software. i would appreciate a proper answer from the makers, and a decent solution.

or the software could be made to work in the first place. apple will redirect you back to the software manufacturers.

OK, what kind of Macbook do you use?
Also it would be for interest, what OSX you have installed.
VDJ only read the iTunes playlist.
Since iTunes has changed their way, it isn't longer that simple.

thanks for the wiki. its the same changing itunes whcih i am not keen on
macbook pro (2010 model) and lion.
keeps saying a skin not there.
