Ok, so I made my own little 30 sec video.

And as the description boxes on YouTube say -> I am not a scratch DJ nor do I try to be one. But here is what I have done.

Btw - my Options tab -> Scratch Latency slider setting is at 100% - not 200% or 250% ... enjoy.

Well that does not sound good at all. Maybe it's the sample you are using. Why not use a song with a heavy beat; scratch on the beat so we can hear it. That was a very poor demonstration of the ddj scratching; the video actually proves that the unit cannot scratch with VDJ. Thank god I took it back and got the NS6.

It wasn't suppose to 'sound' good. The audio is all captured by the built in microphones of the tablet and laptop. The point of the video was to show that if you 'scratch' there is no 'audible' drop in level which is what you and others were claiming.

But I will do another video as you asked - since you still don't think it is possible.

They are the defaults - there are no 'special' setting I have used.

The Pioneer driver setting defaults. VirtualDJ defaults. That is it.

What is you computer configuration ?

Can you try with this settings in performances :

Scratch : optimize for quality

Master tempo : Advanced stretching

Skin Resizing : Fast resizing

download registry tool : http://fr.virtualdj.com/addons/2170/Registry_Tool.html

Run it , and in DefaultScrachLatency change value to 1024
