Is there a step by step video New instructions on how to set this thing up I have the CMD studio 4a DJ controller and I paid for a copy of virtual DJ8
I thought I had it set up but apparently I do not I can start and stop music and scratch and browse but I'm getting no sound through my headphones what have I did wrong. help

Take a screen shot of your audio setup and post it so we can see the problem.

According to the guide here https://www.virtualdj.com/manuals/hardware/behringer/cmdstudio4a.html you should get a popup window when you plug in the controller, then you just click the 'use soundcard' button and VDJ configures things for you.
BTW you have posted in the VDJ 7 area, and you have also dug up a 6 year old thread. In future please try to post in the correct area and avoid posting at the end of dead threads. If you want a quick response it's best to post a new message with a relevant title.
