Topic: Virtual DJ 5 DJC vs. 5 home

Today, I use with Virtual DJ 5 Home edition. I just got an offer to buy an external mixer, an Hercules RMX.

I understand that t comes with the DJC version of Virtual DJ 5. I have studied the product comparison chart, but I don't really get all details.

I will use the automix functionally and lots of predefined playlists even if I buy the Hercules console.

Apart from the ability to change skins. will I miss any functionality if I change from VDJ 5 Home to VDJ 5 DJC?

VirtualDJ Console Edition / LE is limited software and does not have playlists and automix. It also does not allow the skin or program options to be changed, custom effects, etc. to be used.

Home 5 doesn't the use of support MIDI controllers such as the RMX.

Assuming that it is not second hand and/or the discount has not already been used, your best option would be to use the considerable discount that the RMX would entitle you to to upgrade to the full VirtualDJ Professional. You will then have the latest version of the software with the ability to use playlists, automix, custom skins, effects, samples and much, much more.
