I am having the same issue, for this video he is using Vinyl Time-code. We are trying to configure the SL3 to be used with Virtual DJ for CD Time-Code use..

What makes the SL1 and the SL3 different is the SL1 has its own inputs and outputs for the THRU; but with the SL3 the THRU and LINE are coming out of the same inputs and outputs..

Within the Serato software they have a button next to each virtual deck that says TRU; When that is highlighted it plays whats in the CD deck of the CDJ, when that is not highlighted it plays whats on the virtual deck in the serato software..

Therefore when its being used with Virtual DJ it does control and plays the virtual deck in the software; but its not bypassing the THRU function on the SL3 so therefore its playing the time code-cd that's in the CDJ deck..

Now the big question is how to bypass the THRU function within the Virtual DJ software?

CD or Vinyl its the same when it comes to hooking it up...........as for your problem ill check it out when I get home and figure out how to do it. But ill post in your other as it has nothing to do with this one.
