What about adding more than just 3 effects to a deck? Or is this a skin issue??? And when using beat-locked samples on one deck, as soon as you switch to the other deck, cue up and play the sample may restart or distort the beat lock. Once enabled, a sample should be locked onto that deck until the user has disabled the sample and enabled it on another.

At present 3 effets per deck is a software limit, not depending on the skin used.
The sampler adapt the pitch to lock on the active deck.
It's not a bad idea to change the sampler in order to lock the pitch after changing the active deck. I agree with that.
AT present you can already play the sample - load a track on the other deck - changing the active deck to the previous one (look at your shortcuts) - then play the new one.
