Why can't I see any difference in the color of the message-links I've already read.
Is this a setting or what?
All links too messages stay blue, so I can't see any difference between read/unread messages.
Am I the only? Am I getting colorblind?

The color of the links doesn't change but the vynil on the left of each link changes color. Red is unread and grey is read.
