For those of us that use controllers to navigate the software not being able to quickly tell which sample deck we are on is a major issue.
Scrolling through the samples using the controller is not a very user friendly experience especially when navigating empty banks. There is simply no way of telling which one you are on. Even the skins that show the name of a loaded sample in the deck area are not very useful.
Highlighting the sample decks while scrolling through them in the Sample browser window should be pretty easy to code and is very intuitive.
This is something that would help immensely improve the entire sample usage experience.

The new VDJ ver 7 gives us the Tools to make all these happen. I know at least 2 skins (one mine and one from djtouchdan) that include such features. You will have to wait a little bit more to be ready and released.
