Topic: No Virtual Vinyl...................

I want to use 2 soundcards, a Maya44 and the Numark Virtual Vinly box. In advanced config the Maya44 shows up but no Virtual Vinyl box. I've read the manuel and understand it. I want to use 4 decks each on there own channel and the samples on there own. Why doesnt the Numark box show up?

OK I have all 4decks running through my Maya44 with full timecode control over each deck, which is the ISH by the way but I cant run the samples on their own channel. Thats why my Numark Virtual Vinyl box would be perfect plus it sound better to me. Can it not be used cause there are no ASIO drivers for it?? Any info would be great.

@SKYFXL, any input here?? This is a real bummer if I have to go back to the Maya44...................

Ughh!! All that time beta testing and we forgot about the Virtual Vinyl box?? Before I got kicked out it wasnt showing up then either. Not sure who makes the drivers but my screen says Atomix. I've checked the Numark site and its not released there so I doubt they'll be much help. ANYONE?? This Maya sounds like poop.................

It all depends on Numark when to update,,, as usual, I guess you know it long time ago, maybe the reason why you crossgrade to vdjpro.

The VVbox is designed to communicate with Virtual DJ directly in fact the drivers and service is in the software.
It does not communicate with windows just the software so it is allot faster than other cards. However this does mean it will not show in advanced unless this is added to the software. For most purposes the default template should be sufficient.

That is not technically always correct our versions will be published shortly.
 
So what your saying is I need a new soundcard??? Theres no fix for this?

In theory support this could be added in the software this I do not think is a driver issue.
 
OK 1 more then I'm done, is anyone looking into this?? I hope so cause that would be just a waste of a great soundcard, plus I really cant just run out and buy a new one.

Sorry to say the closest analogy to this is iPods it was designed for one purpose and as the software evolved not all models got all the features.
I will make a feature request on your behalf and see what can be added.

Sorry I'm not a moderator so I cant do that I just come here on my spare time to help out.
 
Wow I really feel cheated here!! Really makes no sense to me to not support it. It has alot of great features..............So is this the end of Virtual Vinyl or is there a new box?? Does Numark make anything even close to it?

And technically that's what I felt, and a main reason of cross grading and most users here did also.
 
This is just LAME!! Ughh!! I bet if it was some crap controller theyd be all over it!! I bet they dont put that it wont work with the Advanced Config in their advertisment...............Man no work around what so ever?? Come on team..............
