Here's a challenge !
Would it be possible to add a preview button which allowed you to see the text on, say the left or right player window, before you hit activate.
This would allow you to set up, tweak and see the text before Joe Public

i too have always felt this to be a missing element in these plug ins. then again i usually do them pre gig and save them as templates for each venue so then only thing needs to be changed is the "content" but i would love it to preview on the preview windows in the program. even if it was both thats fine too.

As far as I know this isn't presently possible with the SDK. A video plugin gets passed a single texture; the video output and all plugins in the chain before it.
