Topic: "Save volume level settings on exit"

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

The skin I use has very small controls for these settings and are difficult to adjust (with precision) at the venue.
It would be nice to set those (main and cue) where you want them, then have the program save those settings for the next time the program is run.
Thoughts? or does everyone just run them up full?

Not an unreasonable request. Me personally though... I run everything at full
 
I'm with Dizzy but I guess it boils down to what your using (exturnal mixer, or just your lappy).

As a workaround these values can be controlled via VDJScript so you can map both level settings to one shortcut key, skin button etc.

This also allows you to profile these settings - you could have a skin panel configured with buttons mapped to a bunch of presets.
 
Great idea! Never thought of mapping that. Works great. I have to do it because my sampler volume seems fixed, and if my master is at 100%, you can't hear them. I'm outputting to a mixer, and if it's at 70%, works fine.
