Topic: Mixing Tricks?

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

I cant find the right point to transit to another song. With intro song it matches very well. But I still searching and still couldnt find the rights song which comes after it. Is there any trick? How come? If you want I can post the songs.

Hey there. Depending on the type you can use several methods. If the beginning of the track mixes well with the next one heres a way to mix. Set a cue point at the beginning of the first track. Once that track plays to desired duration, you could 'bounce' it back to the cue point via keyboard shortcut (make sure the proper deck is selected before triggering cues). Once the track is back to where it mixes well, you can loop it to give you the time to mix in the second track.
I do some cue bouncing in this video with 'Love is the Message' by MFSB when mixing into 'Mainline' by Black & Ivory.

You don't always have to blend in you know?

Just do some scratching until it fades out or some other trick.
