When replying to messages or posting even if you don't do it within 3mins or whatever it times out, please sort this it's annoying.

I normally get around about the ten minute mark Charlie, wonder why it is such a short period for you.
If for whatever reason I've left the d/t and came back I always make a copy before I hit save, just in case it dumps on me anyway.
