free media player with decoders for just about everything i've ever seen.

for a freeware it's video fx are out of this world.

i wish there was a way to add these video fx to virtual dj.

click on the eq button. click on video effects. and there they are. many video fx to choose from. the most effective ones are waves, water, and cartoon.

get you free copy of the software from http://www.videolan.org/ and see for your self.

I also would love it if we could bring up some functionality from VLC into VDJ.
It has indeed a bunch of tools to improve the quality of a video.

Maybe from VDJ version 7.0?

In a word I would say you are unlikely to get access to VLC FX in VDJ for both technical and licensing reasons.

If you want lots of video FX then have a look for FreeFrame effects.

so, i can just drag 'n drop freeframe effects into the virtual dj video effects folder and that's it? or is there some kind of a control panel needed to control these effects.. and crash test them one by one.. please help me understand this more

thanks,
