anyone have a mixer with an optical crossfader? wondering what its like and any better, other then the fact, you have no BS with replacing it or having to worry about a dirty fader.
i saw this one with high, mid, low knobs and slider curve adjustment
i mix both hip hop and club so i think this can do both on a basic level, yes there is no mic but damn look at the price..

well mt search for one of these in the us makes a hard search, so i tried looking for anything else. i really like the optical faders so much less replacing and no more rubbing alcohol poured in the fader. i'm looking for the most bang for your buck, a scratch mixer since i already have a 4 channel clubber. just looking for ideas, looking for under $200 or not much over

Look up the Pioneer DJM707. It has an optical crossfader and only $100 over your budget.

i think that gemini would have been sweet, for $150, i rea da review on it and the guys were surprised, i am still looking for it but only see it at shady outlets mostly uk which would bust pockets to ship.
