Tempo Anchor and MIDI beat lock would have been two incredible features to add in both Virtual DJ Mac & PC

Tempo Anchors allow marking tracks with varying tempos—Torq’s effects and samples follow the tempo changes in the song
Tempo Master assigns a playing track to serve as the master tempo source for all tempo-related functions.

With tempo anchor as an option It would allow one to make a one solid tempo which would make better to mix certain old tracks with varying BPMs or tracks with beat drifting problems. Right now In the digital world only two DJ apps have that function Ableton live and Torq 1.5

Transmit/receive MIDI beat clock for sync with other hardware/software and easy switching between DJs

MIDI clock Is almost a basic option in most DJ apps right now.

MIDI clock is a signal that is sends tempo information, allowing you to sync tempo between different devices/applications. MBC would for example allow you to sync VDJ and Ableton or another VJ program like GrandVJ or Arkaos.

Available in VDJ since version 6?

So let me get this straight - Are you saying that VDJ sends out a MIDI clock sync signal that is locked to the tempo of whichever deck is playing?

BUMP!

Someone from the VDJ team please respond.

Thank you.

What? humm didnt see THAT when i made a text (other Midi clock thread under General Discusions) but then i didnt want to mess with the mappings. In most midi Hardware, midi clock is automatically detected and would lock on and there should be something under configurations that more clearly specifies that. humm....

Can someone tell us how to get MIDI clock to work. I've seen it a million times and when you press off it says "turns off LED" so Im assuming it doesn't mean anything? Thanks!!

since I own nothing that takes a midi-clock input, I have no way of testing it.
And since it's 'mapped" to a controller, I assume it also cant be detected via software?
(IE the software that pretends its a midi port)

Rewire or MIDI clock. It's in the manuals that come with VDJ - if you get any more issues search the forum and if you can't find your answer then please start a new thread in the relevant support section :)
