Congratulations to Dev team, this looks awsome.
Great fixes and features, now it just needs some crash testing. Too bad timestretch alorithm stays the same, but it can't all be done in one update :) Great work!!
It's now time for some1 to make a 3 deck skin :D

Is there "what's new / bugs fixed" list somewhere ?
Posted Fri 06 May 05 @ 11:46 am
Yes as always on the history page...
Posted Fri 06 May 05 @ 11:53 am
Thank you Virtual dj Team.
I'm testing it (and i will tonight, at the club)
So far so good.
I was cautious by reading first the history page (things like id3tag read/write)
but most of the new features are options.
So our favorite Virtual dj become more powerfull, but remains flexible and easy of use.
I am sure this was what the programmers wanted.

@ Development:
You guys totally rock.
My prayers have been answered, I just can't beleive what you have achieved.
I am in my second year of PC video and this by far bridges the gap left behind those who have tried and come up short.
This is going to shake it up bigtime.
Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Rick

Yeah Thanks Dev Team, the update list certainly looks the business!
Thanks.
I have only one problem and I am about to email e-service...the download for update is corrupt.
I have downloaded it, tried to install and it says when it starts to install that it's corrupt!
Ross.
Thanks.

Nevermind my last post...After 3ed download of update it's all working now.
Like new karaoke implementation, Video is hungry though.
New button actions for loop could take a bit of getting used to.
Thanks again.

All I can say is WOOOOW...
Those who dont jump on this bandwagon are just foolish. You guys took a while but, NO WONDER!!!
VIDEO???? MP3 TAGS??? Man thats great. And no charge for this great update. Other companies would charge for sure. I just want to ask what other companies will say they have that we dont.
Makes me more than proud to preach how good this SW is to other djs.
Time to test it to death.
Now if we could just get you guys to update the forum SW. lol.. :)

Might I suggest that a VIP or support person do a post walking us through the new features of the latest patch? The FAQ posted above seems to be more of a troubleshooting document than the general FAQ I expected.
Other than the new loop button functions, what has been added to improve the live performance of a non-TCV user such as myself?
Everybody is so excited that I must be missing something.

- many bugs have been fixed
- effects are safer to use (can not crash vdj)
- more stable and safe, ideal for live gigs
- IDtag read/write
- Analyze right-click for BOTH algorithms
- support for iTunes files
- bugs with wma fixed
- analyze bug fixed
- a lot of new skin possibilites, such as more than 2 decks and more
There are MANY new features for non-tcv users as well :)
But most of all, it has a lot of bug fixes, and is A LOT MORE SAFE to use :)
