Hi

I have a laptop so its not so easy to add a second sound card. Searching on the internet for USB Soundcards I came across the MAYA44USB from audiotrack. Can anyone tell me if this would be compatible with virtualdj. Also, would this be a good solution to get mutiliple audio signals out as well as headphone signal?

Maya44USB is 100% compatible ... In fact you can purchase it on our site ! This soundcard would do everything VDJ is capable of as far as soundcards.. With the full version of course ;)

The Maya USB card has 4 mono outputs. This means that for example you could have one stereo out with your mix signal and one for your headphone. Another setup, which I use, is have both decks on the 4 outputs (2 stereo is 4 outputs). Connect those outputs to a mixer and connect my headphone to my mixer.
Multiple outputs with headphone is not possible, while the maya does not have enough outputs. Of you require this you could look at the Maya1010, which has 10 outputs. But this card is much more expensive. You better could buy a mixer for the difference, in my opinion.
Note that those soundcard only work with the full version of VDJ
