Any find it frustrating that a song starts right on the starting beat.
Its annoying when you wanna scratch and you need that lil break to slide back for and easier and comfortable scratch but vdj doesnt allow the track to move back before the cue...
Is there an option in vdj that i don't know about which allows this?
possibly there may be a program which inserts a silence at the beginning of each track.... any recommendations?

totaly agreed sometimes a song does not start exactly onbeat and cueing a song without having to compensate half a beat punching it in sucks, need to put a request in at teh new features thing

You can still with VDJ, tape the music with a silence at the beginning and then use your new song instead of the one with no silence.

Tape it? I've got a database of 15,000 songs.... that would take me years!
