i need to know whatt dj tricks you know that may help another dj out there............dj's are normally mean with there skills....dj's step up and tell us a skill u have whether using vdj........SHARE...

don't worry about tricks dude! get the music ryt and you'll hear the women scream when the songs they know and love come on. Not when ur scratchin or mixing only people who care about Mixing are Dj's. Half the people don't even know when you're mixin all they know is the music they like

gooood answer..........i myself is a dj that makes them hit the wall and scream.......but love these feedbacks...so for that reply......9 1/2
 
yeah the trick is the music...the only trick i do lol is change the tempo of certain songs...if you mess around on you free time with tempos you will find allot of songs that sound way better on a faster tempo changes the whole structure of that song to an up beat more happy danceable song.....works for me! but most song choice will be your success...scratch, looping sampling, doubling...is only good for dj battles when 99.9% of the crowed knows what they are doing and yeah usually this crowed is wannabe djs and djs.
 
my 2 cents.. trips make up 20 % of the whole djing thing..

what i do is use transitions..mashups...remixes and scratch beatjuggle..mess with the eq and mess with the crowd..kill the muzik when they want it the most ..lol...YES IM EVIL!!!!>.lol...and dont play a song for too long..do powermix and slow it down and powermix again...

are there any physical tricks that can be done with midi mixers?
 
yeah look it up in youtube i seen people scratch with a total control not the best best for scratching but some people can adapt to anything, like the guy on youtube mix and scratching with 2 tape decks...yeah you heard right tape decks
