are there any drop and drag type programs to make video effects to use with cue/vdj? or is it all script type writing?

Really you need to be able to code in C++ and use the DirectX API.

no but i pretty much self tought myself on any program i have ever used and i can use a bunch pretty well. i have never gotten into like html script writing or anything but i can still design sites and flash etc.

Get yourself a copy of Visual C++ Express 2008 (it's free) and the DirectX SDK (also free) and see what you think. If you need anything I'm happy to help :)

ok i got both installed. downloaded a sample project for sdk. which do i use to make the plugin or is there a basic way to start? thanks.
