Nagbabalik tanaw din ako sa manual-mixing kapag tinitesting ko ang cd-drive ng mga players ko.
Medyo mahirap mag-maintain ng CD library. Lately, they are mostly used as back-ups. Even on this purpose, mas convenient pa rin ang USB-thumbstick which is what almost everybody prefer.
I am sure the mixer on the picture is a DJM800... yung CDJs hindi ko masyadong maaninag... Hopefully they are CDJ900.
If they are... You might want to research about "Rekordbox", a FREE library management software from Pioneer.

Uu nga po sabi ko nga po kahit SL1 Lang pero sabi nmn po
Ni sir dustin mag vdjpro nlng po ko kakagat din nmn po sa
Software ntn po ung ung setup nlng po aalamin ko hehe
Ako nmn po USB stick din po gamit ko kesa sa CD hirap po
Mag set ng tracklist po dun e. DNA po nabubura hehe.

CDJ850 are compatible with rekordbox. The DJM850 is NOT : (
I believe you can still use rekordbox with this set up but the mixer will only work as an analogue mixer... meaning, you cannot use the mixer to set the master tempo for bpm and send the signal to the cdj850. Pioneer mixers are good in receiving bpm from input signal though. So this is not a big problem.
2.
DJM850 is a certified Traktor Mixer (with built-in Native Instrument Soundcard)
You can use this with VDJ-Pro without the need of an external soundcard.
While saving some $$$ for the VDJ-Pro, you could take advantage to use the Traktor LE that comes FREE with the Pioneer DJM850.
I don't know if you've tried Traktor before. But I would rather go with the Traktor LE version than using CDs.

*Kunin mo na lang kay Dustin yung e-mail address ko kung kailangan mo ng mas detalyadong tulong*

Here's an update...
I was able to use rekordbox on my Ipod (3rd gen) with my CDJs. This will be a good back-up option for me from now on.
I will let you know once I am able to get the USB Stick working.
Sa palagay ko mas magiging intresado ka dito.
Imagine, you will be able to prep your files in rekordbox on your laptop at home, then just bring a usb stick or hdd on your gig.
It's nice to discover and learn a new thing... especially if it's related to the things you love doing.

Sayang at hindi pwedeng ihagis sa Pinas ng basta basta lang ang mga pinaglumaan natin mula dito.
Tulad ng pinalitan kong CDJ900s at DJM700, alam kong pasok na pasok pa rin yon diyan sa atin.

Ill follow the step po then try ko po kaya ulit message if my mga tanong po ko sa email nyo nlng po cguro para matanong ko na
Din po lahat ng questions ko, Un po ung pinaka motive ko para maka save din ng $$$ hehe! anyway plan ko din nmn po kumuha ng VDJ PRO e Pero Pinag iipunan ko muna din po, Kung baga nasa step by step palang nmn po ko e, so kunin ko nlng po kay sir dustin ung Email mo or skanya nlng din po ako mag ask ng important question thanks for the help sir! :)
