I have sent a private message to jpboggis regarding an upgrade to the HC4500 plugin but still have not recieved a reply. Does anyone know if he is working on an update as it has been a while, lets hope he is as I liked his last Plugin

Sorry, there is no news at the moment. It is still work in progress.
It will take some time to convert all of the mapper, simply because everything related to mapping controllers has totally changed in v6. Most of the mapper has to be completely rewritten from scratch. As with new versions of VirtualDJ, it will be released when it is ready.
In the meantime, if you wish to use the mapper, you will need to use v5.2.1, or you can make your own mapping in v6 using VDJscript, which is the future for mapping controllers in VirtualDJ.
