Topic: CUE users Version 6 update??!! - Page: 10

Will CUE 6 be compatible with the Numark Omni Control? If so, fantastic! If not, WHY, and WHEN WILL IT BE??? I currently have the Total Control, but the Omni is more self-contained, which appeals to my practical side.

And continues ..... almost 2 mnths and counting.
Maybe numark is thinking of giving us a xmas present ...... lol
 
Frustrating waiting for the release, but its also frustrating being giving a release with errors. I'll happily wait for a finished product
 
I personally think a lot of bugs were found. But also VDJ 6 is a nice software.

As well NS7 suport will be added, and cue 6.X will be the next VDJ update.

I hope I’m wrong about Numark and VDJ and if I am right then VDJ, step up and lend a hand to your loyal CUE users, as far as I’m concerned I'm not a CUE user, I’m a VDJ user period!!


What's the point on buying it from Numark? Buy it right from VDJ you pay extra and get additional headaches just to get the Numark logo?????? I have been using VDJ Pro V6.0.1 since it came out on my Dell laptop and it works EVERYTIME like a charm. It's rock solid, even running video.
 
Is VirtualDJ 6.0.1 compatible with the Numark Omni Control? If so, I just might end up crossgrading. If not, I'll wait until Numark gets it finished.
 
numark omni control is in the list of mappers. you can map it to the way you want too.

its a new way of mapping, so old mapper plugins wont work
 
I would be happy to get CUE6 like VDJ6 right now. And then Numark can look for bugs and press for NS7 support for the rest of the year. Numark, are you listening?

We spend allot more time QC updates and provide support internationaly.

Great to hear your experience with VDJ has been good.

Will there be a CUE/Virtual DJ overlay for the Omni Control? And will I have to jump through any hoops to get CUE/Virtual DJ to work with it? I know nothing about midi-mapping; when I got the Total Control, it was CUE-compatible out-of-the-box, ready to go. Pardon my stupid newbie questions. :-)
 
Numark OmniControl is on DJfs' list of controllers for VDJ above so it should be available in cue. If not, you can always crossgrade.
