Topic: Reverse loops?

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

Greetings everyone, after spending a million years researching I have finally jumped on the VDJ bandwagon, and have my first question for the forum. Total noob so keep that in mind :) Is there a way to play loops in reverse? I know there is the full reverse but if I have a loop set it goes right on past the loop in point, headed for the beginning of the track. Any way to get them to repeat in reverse just like they do going forward? Thanks in advance, the dialogues here were actually the main reason I decided on VDJ instead of SSL, Traktor, Torq, etc.

Hmm not that i know of. but then again i havent really tried doing that. perhaps if u are using timecoded vinyls and ure turntables have a reverse feature to play the vinyl backwards, you could achieve that.

Thanks for the response, tried it with my timecoded vinyl and the result is the same. When I unreverse (totally a word btw) the platter it will go forward until the loop out point and then start repeating the loop again. Wish there was a way to make loops behave the exact same way but going backwards.
