Morning all,
Yet another new video transition for you: SBDJ Squares.
This divides the active video up into squares (quantity adjustable from a 2x2 grid to a 50x50 grid in the parameters), then randomly changes these squares to the other video as you crossfade.
As always, this requires VC++ 2008 Runtimes, and DirectX 9.0 November 2008 updates.
Regards,
Scott

I can't see any reason why not, nothing has changed in the SDK AFAIK since then?

brilliant effect Scott, got a little problem though, left deck works fine, fading over to right freezes vid and de activates transition, yet when fading back over to left deck plug in still works, any ideas what i'm doing wrong....

Was expecting this to be similar to the other Squares plugin, and was plesantly surprised, nice!
Just curious as to if the change from boxes back to full screen video is a bit harsh? Perhaps the full screen video could fade in at the end of the trans, and the boxes could fade in over the full screen video at the start maybe, just to soften the swap from boxes to full screen and vice-versa?

Don't know Tayla, I haven't been able to freeze it, but I'll give it some more testing.
I was thinking along the softening lines too Kym...
