Can anyone tell me what the smart play button is used for on version 5.2?? I am trying to figure things out with VDJ before purchasing because I already have Serato.

Smart Play when activated and Play is pressed to start a track ... the track being started will jump to start on beat with the track currently playing.

Ok well how should I be using it? It doesn't seem to making a difference when pressed.

think of smart play with auto beatmatch ....when pressed the smart play button (I customed mapped mine to space bar) the song u want to play automatically jumps to the next bass/beat. so instead of pressure cue or c to try am match the beats manually once bpm are same you just hit smart play an it matches like a pro. I think it automatically matches the BPM of the track currently playing too so it eliminates you hitting sync too....
