This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

1. when you hit ctrl f to enter the search field it should delete what ever is in the box and start a new search.
2. you should make it possible to search artist and song tittle at the same time or at least make an option to widen the search.
3. map a keyboard config plugin or something to be able to control both decks via keybopard at the same time like other digital software without having to hit tab or another button.

thats it for now. thanks.

1/ the search gets cleared up every time you switch folder or window between
browser and search. But I agree, some additional functionality could be added
as in search_clear, and the shift option to browse through folders with the same
search filter applied would still come handy (if you don't have the database always
scanned)

2/ you can already search for both artist and title:

type: artist * title

3/ that's already possible, instead of "on default deck" in keyboard shortcut settings
use "on deck 1" or "on deck 2".

1) Open VirtualDJ, go to the Settings window (config button).
Open the Keyboard Shortcut tab.

Click on "Add".
Then click on "Browser" and look for "search" in the list of actions. Click on it.
Tick the "Reset" box.
Now use your keyboard and tap CTRL + F, to define this action to this keyboard shortcut.
Click on "OK" then on "No".

And your dreams come true :-)
