Is there a way to add track cuts in a Mix created by VDJ? All the mixes I do are one continuous track. I would like to create a new track everytime a new song plays. Is it possible?

Never tried but there is an option in the record section of your soft.
Check the manual for more info I think it works.
If you can't you can use an audio edit software to cut your songs.
The burning softwares can also insert separations in the ready to burn file.

The VDJ cut option in the record tab works if you use the software crossfader only because it will cut the track each time the crossfader reaches the other side.
If your using an external mixer though you will have to create 1 long track and the cut it where you want.
I use nero to put the track marks in and then burn the cd

PJay, What version of Nero do you have? I have Nero 6.

I also have nero 6
You add the single track. then right click and edit the song. then you can browse though it and put indexes where you want the track marks. when youve done click ok to split the track.
make sure you take the 2 second gap out though because i think nero puts them in as default.
theres probably an easier way of doing this but it works :)

Maybe I shouldn't of jumped the gun.
Hey boss, I tried it but can only get a few tracks(indexes) in before the 10:00min. break. After that the index jumps past the end of the track...
example...
my mix is 74 mins. long. I have 4 or 5 tracks in before 10 mins. When I try to add an index for 10:04:5, the index jumps past the end of the mix.
God I hope that makes sense.

Right ive just done a quick test
ive found the position in the mix (where i want to create the track mark) by using the play button in the tracks properties. Then i simple just click split and continue onto the next track mark.
I did the whole cd (16 Tracks) then just clicked ok
I believe you can also put indexes in and split them at the end. Try both ways and let me know
