I know traktor has it and VDJ deserves something so simple yet useful.

other day while mixing i didnt know it but my power cord fell out and my laptop just shut down!

A little battery icon that displays your battery and can be customized to notify you if you become unplugged!!

when my task bar is hidden i get an audible signal to say that the battery is getting low, saved my ass a few times when i've forgot to plug the power pack in,lol. maybes you could use that in the meantime...
