Hi people,
i just changed my old ASUS W1 Centrino 1.7 1gb ram 80gb hdd ATI 9600 video card for a brand new SONY VAIO FE11S Centrino core duo T2400 1gb ram 160HDD NVIDIA GeForce Go 7400 256mb(128mb dedicated + 128mb shared)
I'm using VDJ 3.4 with HDJC MK2 for long, mixing videos live at the club.
Today i started playing with my new Vaio, and found problem with video...they hang. Cannot use Hardware acceleration :( I tried several configs but still hangs....maybe driver problem.
If anyone found this problem and have any solution idea...it's gonna be welcome

Any suggestion or idea?

some video cards don't support "hardaware acceleration mode" and they work better without that option , may be that's your case, check your video card specifications. hope it helps!

How "Hardware acceleration" mode really works? I mean, what is the difference between on and off?

Hello again...seems that i cannot use video HW accelaration mode.
deactivated, it works but processor keeps runing up
with HW accel video play, then freeze after few secs, then plays again after few secs, and so on like no continuous video process is on....

Hi, new review..
after upgrading laptop with last Sony downloadable video driver, machine works smooth, unfortunately i still cannot activate video HW acceleration and even without it, VDJ 3.4 crashes :( , seems that geforce go 7400 is not fully supported by VDJ...let's see if VDJ team decides to develope an upgraded patch....
