Got myself a new Asus PX13 Windows laptop with the AMD Ryzen AI MAX+ 395 16 Core-Processor and AMD Radeon integrated graphics and it is perfect.
I'm quite convinced a lot of the issues I have had in the past (especially with bad latency) are due to Windows machines having both integrated graphics and a separate RTX card, where this one has the graphics on the SOC and finally they are way fast enough. Stems around 27 times so more than acceptable.
Still a bit more testing to do however everything seems fine so far.

With that SOC I believe the memory is unified (shared amongst the general CPU, integrated GPU and NPU), which is very similar to the MacBook architecture (you can throw almost all the total memory to GPU and AI use as required).

It never had to be exclusively Nvidia but they were generally the fastest. Other "on chip" graphics were either quite slow or unsupported but this new architecture completely changes that.
After debloating, changing power and processor settings and disabling all the Microsoft AI crap the latency is well within tolerance and it runs very well indeed.
The chip is very energy efficient and although it comes with a 200w power brick it can also be ran on 100w USB PD and there is no noticeable difference in performance.

That's a great find Krad! I'm really glad to see an alternative to Nvidia as I think their drivers cause word DPC spikes behind the scenes (and their CEO is a wanker!)

I've not even bothered with latencymon this time. The machine seems to run fine so I'm not going down that rabbit hole again.
No issue with running the FLX10 drivers at all.
