So, I DJ in Second Life through a Shoutcast Server. In the past, listeners have been able to see (or not see) song titles and artists whenever I change the "broadcastsonginfo" setting from yes to no. For the past month, whenever I select "yes" to allow listeners to see the song title and artist, it won't display on the DJ board or in local chat. I've tried changing settings, have played with %artist - %title, and nothing is working. Thank you in advance for your help!

I just finished a 3 hour broadcast on a normal radio server and broadcasting titles worked as it should.
So, can you check if maybe there's a change "on the other side" that needs your attention ?

I do have the same issue with virtual dj 2026 with a Pro license. I broadcast to a shoutcast server and track info is not shown in VLC, winamp or on the admin page of shoutcast. I have broadcastsonginfo set to yes and the broadcastsonginfoformat set to %artist - %title. I also dj in SL where the trackinfo is not shown either

Are you sure that the Shoutcast server is configured correctly ?
I just tried (again) here and the option works as it should.
PS:
I have no idea how SL works, so I don't even know if it should show metadata or not.
However on both Shoutcast and Icecast servers that I tried, it works.
Quick question: Your files DO HAVE both "Artist" and "Title" data filled on TAG Editor, right ?

I'm a DJ in IMVU and VRChat, so I hope my response can help.
Different radio station platforms are going to react or receive certain types of broadcast metadata "differently" (Caster.fm, ismyradio.fm, zeno.fm, Azuracast, etc.) but the normal %artist - %title should be transmitting and being received by all of them. But I myself had some problems with all this too. Part of the reason was that I was trying to broadcast to my station over VDJ's "ogg" encoder (selection), and ogg metadata files are different than standard MP3. When I switched to sending (broadcasting) with the "MP3 320kbps" on VDJ, my problem went away.
There is one other thing you should be aware of. VDJ's "Session Name" and "Other Fields" do not work ...not with standard text. It may be that they require code or commands in these fields, but straight text does nothing in them. There is a workaround however. See my blog about all this at:
https://virtualdj.com/user/Jesse_Li_Starseed/blogs/6202/Metadata_and_Info_Streaming_to_a_Platform.html
...last thing. If you are streaming "directly" into the room, it may require a different set-up. I'm not sure how Second Life is set up, but IMVU just went to being able to stream into a room over a year ago, even on it's Classic Client now. The control panel for my radio station's audio going straight into the room requires what's called a "direct link" (and not the URL of the station page), usually has the port number in the URL (like 8000). For instance, my station is at starseedradio.com but it requires a "direct link" from my radio station's dashboard which is:
https://starseedradio.org:8000/radio.aac

As I've said in the past, different servers implement different things differently.
For instance, I have setup my own ICECAST server.
Session Name gets transmitted from VirtualDJ to the server as it should.
However the default Icecast configuration (that most radio stations will adapt to) does not transmit this info on the "health" part of the stream. You need to explicitly enable it.
Finally, the streaming format (MP3/OGG) typically is something to be dictated by the server.
Your radio server will tell you whether they accept mp3 or ogg (or both) streams.
